Frankenstein

I have to admit that I didn't love the book Frankenstein, but it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be and it was a million times easier to read and understand than The Prince. The beginning of the book was slow, but once it picked up I got pulled into the story. I had never read the book before or paid much attention to the movies. Before we find out who the murder of Victors brother is, I kept expecting it to be someone else not the monster. Even after we find out that the monster is the killer, I still like him more than I like Victor. I think it's because the monster is honest he tells Victor that he killed his brother and that he was going to kill everyone else that Victor cares about. Victor on the other hand keeps everything to himself, he doesn't warn his family that there is a monster out there waiting to kill them. He is to wrapped up in himself, he never stands up and does the right thing.

  1. I am not a huge fan of Frankenstein either, but maybe once I finish the book it will be better. I totally agree about it being easier to read than The Prince; that book was not fun at all.

  2. I agree as well, the Prince was very hard to follow but frankenstein was an easier read.

  3. I definitely do not like this book, and this was the second time it was assigned to me in an English class. This book was definitely way easier to read than the Prince. I never even finished the Prince

  5. I also agree with what you said. The Prince was really hard to follow, I never even finished The Prince. At least with Frankenstein it got better towards the end. The Prince was just to boring for me.
